Artist comment: Love it when a commissioned work comes along that suits perfectly. I’m a big music fan and have been thinking a lot about mosaic portraits lately, so you can imagine my excitement being asked to create this one. Pretty challenging work – eyes and mouths were the key. Colours were awesome to work with and the work came up a treat once installed on an outside deck.
