mosaic table created with ceramic tiles on a wrought iron base

Artist comment: This top was created for a client who had a wrought iron base with a weathered timber top that needed replacing. Installing a mosaic top meant that she would never have to go through this again.

I commissioned a blacksmith to create an iron ring that would fit her top perfectly.

The design itself was a recycled version of one of my earlier works which was based on some ancient indian floral designs. I find the blues with the terracotta to be a most interesting & effective combination.
